Mmmmm…. Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts have always been a quick and tasty treat. Although it’s been a while since I’ve had one, the idea of making your own pop tarts from scratch fascinates me. Just use any basic crust recipe, and personalize your pop tarts by using your favourite ingredients.

The greatest part of making them yourself is that you can control the ingredients that are used. Aside from high fructose corn syrup, Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts usually include over thirty other ingredients. When you make homemade pop tarts, you can use whole wheat flour, fruit jams, nutella, peanut butter, or any other filling you can think of.

Here’s a few great recipes to get you started!
