Cupcakes Brings Their Popular Retro Style Bakery To Toronto

Cupcakes, the popular Vancouver-based retail bakery, has opened up shop in Toronto with a new location in Leaside. Cupcakes Leaside specializes in whimsical cupcakes, cakes and other nostalgic baked goods made fresh daily. Co-founded by best friends Heather White and Lori Joyce (The Cupcake Girls) in 2002, Cupcakes now has 60 employees and seven bakeries to date. Cupcakes bakes their products from scratch and use preservative-free, basic ingredients, offering customers fresh batches of yummy goodness daily. They also offer scrumptious retro cakes and cupcakes for weddings, birthdays, special events, or just to indulge.

Cupcakes Leaside is now open just in time for Valentines’ Day. To celebrate, they have some great Valentine’ Day specials (left to right)!

The Love Bug, vanilla red velvet layered cake topped with a cinnamon cream cheese and a cinnamon heart.

Feelin’ Razzy, raspberry filled chocolate cake topped with raspberry buttercream a dollop of raspberry and white round sprinkles.
