French Green Beans

  • 1 pound French green beans
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1 Garlic clove pressed
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped Parsley


  1. Remove the stems from the beans. Wash well.
  2. Steam the beans for 4 minutes. Turn off the stove and pour out the water in the steaming pot.
  3. Add the red pepper flakes, the clove of garlic and the olive oil to the hot pot, stir and leave it for a couple of minutes as it will cook without the additional heat.
  4. Salt and pepper the green beans and add them to the pot, toss well, sprinkle with the fresh parsley and enjoy!!
